Christmas Lesson

I had a great time this week with the kids. We had a Christmas theme. Learned about the colors red and green. Number 25 for Dec 25th and the letter C. First, the boys practiced writing the letter C and number 25.

Then we went over the Manger story. We enjoyed talking about Mary and Joseph, the bright star, angels,wise men and gifts. I was impressed with all of the boys knowledge of the birth of the Savior.

For our craft the kids all made a present for their parents for Christmas.

For our portfolios the boys decorated Christmas trees.

About Us

Blue Preschool was established in Sept. 2010 by six Moms who wanted a great preschool experience for their three year olds. We have six little boys in the preschool and each Mom takes a week to be the teacher and have preschool at their house. We also have multiple field trips planned that will be on different days, but will supplement that week's lesson.

We came up with our own curriculum that includes, but is not limited to; colors, numbers, alphabet, weather, days of the week, shapes, listening to a teacher, language, phonics, fine motor skills, music, art, science, movement, etc.

The teacher in charge each week comes up with their own lesson theme and teaches it to the children in their own way, but each lesson will include; gathering activity, clean-up, circle time, lesson, wiggle-time, story, song, snack, craft, and free play. We also add one page to our Blue Preschool book for each child every lesson.
