Slime/Goo Experiment

Hey Blue Preschool friends!  This is a fun experiment that we didn't get to at Preschool yesterday so I thought I'd share it in case you wanted to do this with your preschool boys as a fun activity.  I did this with T yesterday and he thought it was really fun, although it took him a while to get up the courage to touch it.  (It is fun to play with in a ziplock bag if they don't want to touch the goo.)

SLIME/GOO
Materials:
water
white glue
Borax
food coloring

Mix white glue with an equal amount of water.
Put in some food coloring in the glue mixture.
In a seperate bowl dissolve 2 tablespoons of borax in water.
Slowly add a little bit of the dissolved borax into the glue mixture until slime appears.
Work the slime with your hands and play!
Store in a ziplock bag.
**I have A LOT of borax if any of you want some to use for this experiment.  Just let me know and I'll give you a bag of the stuff.

  1. Okay I just have to say T's face in the first picture is priceless. We may take you up on the borax soap and give this a try. Thanks for sharing it.
